All financial gifts, donations, tithes, also people’s time and effort, are used to support the community in Shirrell Heath and surrounding area, provide pastoral care and broader ministry, maintain the fabric of the building, keep the building lit and heated, invest in youth work, events and all the activities organised by Shirrell Heath Methodists. Shirrell Heath Methodists contribute to the Meon Valley Methodist Circuit, Southampton District and UK Methodist Church work nationally, and the work of Methodist charities in the UK and abroad in the event of special need
